Our support van broke down on the pass. It needs transmission work. We have to bike out toward phoenix but our van brings us water. So, if there is anybody in Los Angeles who could fix the van I’d help in any way you’d be an answer to prayer.
If you can help please email drew nelson at dnelson@ventureonline.org

I find it ironic that your van that brings you water broke down on your mission to raise money to drill wells, so kids in Africa don’t have to bike for water. Is this God’s sense of humor?
Sorry, just made me laugh.

Don let us know if and where you need us to meet you. Esp. if you don’t have water. Jordan can go wherever.
As to the problem at hand…Where exactly are you guys? I can ask some friends in LA for mechanic recs etc. I don’t know anyone personally who can help, but you are much more popular than I am, as evidenced by the amount of firends you have on facebook.
loves to you,
mins

I think you should stop traveling with vans. I seem to remember a whole book about a van that keeps breaking down. I hope it isn’t any indication of how this trip will go. I will be praying that God sends you just what you need to fix the van and that your trip is a success.

Actually the van that brings the water breaking down makes perfect sense from a perspective of spiritual warfare. Don and his team are raising money and awareness to bring the African people something essential and elemental to life. This will be opposed. That the Enemy would strike a blow to the water delivery which is essential to their mission seems to transcend irony…
