Also, here is a gaph of day one. I had a gps thing with me that charted our elevation. Our first day on the trip we climbed to nearly 5000 feet, and a total (including ups and downs) of nearly 10,000 feet. Insane.

    It is awesome that you are riding across the USA. I just did part of a ride across South Dakota. It’s true what they say about training. Just as true as what they say about not training.
