Things are good on the ride. We have entered east coast time and are only about eight riding days away from the ocean in Deleware. But it seems like a lifetime away. Its hard to believe we are actually going to get there.
Last night we camped in the foothills of the Smokies. And for some reason the weather has been mild to cool. Its a nice change and the temperature makes the miles to faster. And we are riding through pretty country too. Tennessee has unique hills and uncut diverse forests. The stone is great brown and naturally cuts into shelves and steps along the creekbeds. And when we cross bridges the temperature drops a bit. Then we climb back up the next hill.

I love the “closed” sign the background. The image reminded me that such things don’t exist in His Kingdom.

You’re totally the BOMB! I am so impressed and I’m bragging about you all the time. And, you don’t know me that well, but I can REALLY brag when I set my mind to it. Believe me. I’m very proud of you. You ROCK.

You guys have inspired me to dust off my bike. You told me that riding in traffic “is fun.” I think your idea of fun is different from mine…But, I’ll give it a try.
Am praying you guys arrive at the (crawfish filled) Atlantic in one piece.

You’re riding through the area of my beautiful hometown…I’m jealous, wish I was there, too!
Congratulations, you all are almost finished. What a trip!
